Based on your selected interests, the Guide provides resources to planners, preparedness coordinators, and other personnel interested in identifying, engaging, communicating with, and providing services to vulnerable and at-risk populations during emergency events and disasters. These tips and resources include examples of PowerPoint presentations, training templates, questionnaires, and other references to support your planning and preparedness activities.

Use the filter options to select from a list of specific partner and populations types. To select more than one partner or population type, press the Control (Ctrl) key and click on the categories of interest. To view the full list, simply adjust the filter to "-Any-" to remove the current filter(s).

Case example from the University of South Carolina (USC), where they developed a Pandemic Influenza Coordinating Committee in April 2009. The committee’s leadership engaged local and state officials from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control to participate in joint planning to ensure USC had a comprehensive pandemic influenza plan.
